ESHER, U.K., May 8, 2012 - City Windmills, Ltd. (Frankfurt symbol: CYW - www.citywindmills.com) is pleased to announce its partnership with the French company Verteole, a manufacturer of vertical axis windmills, to enhance its offer to the North American market.
City Windmills Ltd. has recently entered into a partnership with the French company Verteole to increase the company’s offer of wind turbines for the North American market. In order to enhance its product portfolio, City Windmills Ltd. signed a letter of collaboration with Verteole, a French electric wind turbine company. The agreement includes the manufacturing/assembly performed by a U.S. Government manufacturing agency. City Windmills will market the products and distribute them into the Government and commercial markets in North America.
The Verteole GW system allows City Windmills to deploy its North American strategy by offering a 1 kW system for US government entities along with City Windmills 4.5 kW system This offers a larger scale of products and different energy outputs for our the various customers needs.
Verteole also comes closest to our knowledge to US military and Government standards, as it has been certified and tested in live conditions with winds at 196 kmh (122 mph) and survived the event perfectly. Among the US military standards for eventual utilization of their own windmills for autonomous production of electrical energy, we find transportability and resistance to high winds.
