Wind Arrays for Buildings
City Windmills has developed the Windvertiser wind turbine with several objectives in mind.
Mostly, unlike other small wind turbines, the Windvertiser has been designed to function in the form of a Wind Array, that is in groups of 5, 10 and up to 30 units to bring high power, low cost clean energy at your location. The array of windmills is intended, under the constraint of roof size, weight considerations, land size and/or wind turbulences to produce energy to quasi autonomy of the building, thereby becoming independent from the grid. This array capability also allows for a building to produce much more energy than solar panels will ever produce.
Also, the large wind panels that provide the superior power for such windmills (7.40 m - 22 feet high approx.) allow you to communicate for all to see, your brand, your advertisment campaign, your flag, your unit emblem and so on, on panels measuring over 2m x 3m (6.5 ft x 10 ft).
Even excluding the current tax incentives, they are probably the lowest cost wind energy source you can find in the small wind class. All systems are linked together over the Internet with the City Windmills RPM (Remote Performance Monitoring) system that allows you at all times to view performance, power generation, possible future failures and historical data.
